By Night started out in 1999. We found our special sound (dynamic deathmetal) around 2002. We made a lot of concerts at festivals and stuff already as a demo-band. We put our demo out and got signed with lifeforce 2003. Released the demo on a split-cd. Recorded our first album the same summer (2004). We got realy good response for our first record "Burn the
flags". Then we made two tours. One with Deadsoil and Desteny. And one bigger with Ektomorf, Disbeliefed and Betzefer. When we arrived home after that in late autumn 2005 we started working on new songs for the new cd called "A new shape of desperation". We recorded it in may/june and the
record were realeased 25/9 2006. We have got good feedback on this album too and now it´s time for a new tour.
 

Angel: If you could open for any band, who would it be?

By Night: I think it would be cool to open for Slayer. Becuse they are fucking old but still hard enough and they are the mighty lords of trash.

Angel: What was your first CD purchase?

By Night: My first cd was Iron Maiden - A real dead one. Still one of my favorites.

Angel: What band was at your first concert?

By Night: Ablaze my sorrow. A razor-sharp death metal band from my hometown.
